In light of the spread of the Coronavirus and the inability to contain it, the suffering of displaced families in northern Syria increased as more of their basic necessities for life went unmet.

Field teams of Watan distributed around 9000 non-food items to the people displaced in Idlib and Aleppo countryside in northern Syria and set up around 4050 tents.

The field teams have also leveled and checked the floors of 2000 tents in order to protect its residents from insects in summer and floods in winter.

Prior to that, monitoring and evaluation teams in Watan continued to record the movement of displaced people over the course of July with the aim of assessing their needs.
