Watan, through its teams in various regions of northwestern Syria, continues its support for families affected by displacement with essential materials. After implementing the project and distributing the materials, Watan extended the project in agreement with UNHCR and moved to the second phase, which targets 18,000 families (90 thousand individuals). The project ends on the 31st of December of this year. The project aims to reach the affected families in northwestern Syria, providing various non-food items to help improve their living conditions.

The second phase of the project aims to distribute 18000 winter emergency baskets, install 6000 family tents with subtended flooring, install 600 RHU units, and drilling of wells.

Last month, three shipments of tents containing 4500 tents and two shipments of containing 2000 winter emergency baskets arrived which are being distributed as scheduled.

Give Where the Need is Greatest

Watan is working to build the foundation construction for 2600 new units with the aim to complete them by next year, continuing its efforts to secure better living conditions for the people displaced in northwestern Syria.
