In light of its continuous efforts to protect livestock, Watan aims to immunize livestock from diseases that threaten their lives and harm people that feed on their products. Watan has managed to vaccinate 250,000 sheep and goats in the regions of Idlib and Harim and 70% of the cattle raised in northern Aleppo against intestinal poisoning and ectoparasites.

This intervention aims to vaccinate livestock present in all regions of northwestern Syria in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). It is planned to reach all herds by the end of December according to the annual vaccination calendar approved by the project’s livestock coordination team.
